3. WeParent Subscription Recognition

Access to Previous Invoices

The timezone displayed in your account now updates correctly based on what you select in the Personal Information section. This ensures accurate timestamps across all features, including expenses, messages, and notifications.

New Features and Improvements

Expense Export
We’re excited to introduce a new feature that allows you to export expenses for multiple participants in PDF format. To export, navigate to the Transactions tab in the left-hand menu, select the transactions you wish to view, and click Export at the top right corner of the expenses table. Choose the export criteria to generate your PDF.

Import Feature
Our import function is back! You can easily import expenses using our downloadable template, which can be found at Transactions > Import.

Recurring Expenses
We’ve added more helpful details to the Recurring Expenses page to make managing your expenses even more accessible.

Spanish Translation
The Add Expense walk-through is now available in Spanish! To change the language, click the Translate icon located to the left of your name at the top right corner of the page.

User Interface Enhancements
We’ve refined wording throughout the app and website to make your experience smoother and more intuitive.

Bug Fixes
We’ve fixed the issue that prevented premium users from accessing their two free transfers per month. Premium users can now enjoy their transfers without interruption.

New Features and Improvements

Automatic Payments: 
Introducing the ability to set up automatic payments when adding an expense. This allows users to create recurring expenses that will be automatically paid to the other parent, making it easier to stay on top of payments. To set up automatic payments for a recurring expense, go to the Transactions tab on the left-hand side menu and select You Owe. Then, locate the expense you want to pay and toggle the Auto Payment button.

Take A Tour:
Our introductory tour is now available in Spanish, automatically matching your device's default language for a seamless experience.

User Interface Enhancements:
We've refined the user interface to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. Some icons have been updated, and the overall appearance of crucial pages, such as the Family section, has been enhanced.

Notification Enhancements:
We've upgraded push notifications on our iOS and Android mobile app to ensure you receive timely and relevant alerts about your account. Now, you'll get notifications when an expense is added or disputed, and when a payment is made or recorded, among other key updates. We've worked to ensure these notifications function seamlessly across both platforms.

Disputes:
You can now dispute all types of expenses, not just reimbursement or support expenses. This new feature provides greater flexibility, allowing you to manage your finances more effectively by disputing any bill expense as needed.

User Interface Enhancements:
We've resolved alignment issues on the Expense Details page, ensuring that expense amounts display correctly when adding new expenses. Additionally, we've fixed a UI bug where incorrect information appeared when splitting an expense if the amounts didn't match the total. User Interface Enhancements:

  • Take a Tour: We’ve resolved the bugs that caused UI flickering during the "Take a Tour" feature, particularly when learning the basics of adding reimbursements, bills, or support. The "Take a Tour" option has been restored to the home page in the To Do section, and we’ve also improved the descriptions in many tour steps for clearer guidance.

Notifications Enhancements:

  • Email Notifications: Our email notifications have been enhanced to send a summary report by default every 30 days. Registered users can now opt to receive emails more frequently (hourly, daily, and/or weekly). Additionally, a reminder email will be sent 7 days before your subscription renewal date.

Other Improvements:

  • Choosing a Family: Previously, users had to select a family every time they logged into SupportPay. Now, you only need to choose a family the first time you log in. Once selected, this will be your default family until you switch families via the option in the top right corner of the page.
  • Disputes: Users now have the option to open a dispute for expenses shared by three or more users.

  • Personal Information Page: We've fixed the bug causing drop-down lists to overlap with the website's footer and header when users edit their personal information. The user interface now provides a cleaner look on the Personal Information page.
  • Family Page: The issue preventing profile pictures from displaying on the Family page has been resolved. Now, all family members' profile pictures are visible.
  • Notification Icon: We've added a notification bell icon for users with multiple family members, making it easier to stay informed.
  • Avatar Customization: Users can now choose a preferred color for family member avatars, and we’ve added new avatar options to enhance personalization.

  • Family Name Display: We've fixed the bug that prevented the family name from appearing when adding a new family member. This improvement ensures that users can correctly add family members to the appropriate family.

  • Annual Payments: We've added the ability to select annual payments when setting up recurring expenses, providing more flexibility in managing finances.
  • Recurring Expense Editing: The issue that prevented users from editing the name of recurring expenses when a filter was applied has been fixed. Users can now click to edit recurring expense names without any issues.

  • Multiple Invitations: We've added the ability to invite multiple family members to register for bank transfers simultaneously, simplifying the setup process.

A NEW SUPPORTPAY VERSION IS AVAILABLE!

We are thrilled to introduce a revamped version of our website and app, offering enhanced features to elevate your experience. Check out the exciting highlights of this latest update:

  • NEW! Ability to Add Multiple Families: Whether you're managing multiple parent/child relationships or sharing in the expenses with another family member, you can now add an unlimited number of families and manage each financial relationship independently. To add a new family, you need to log out from your account and log back in. Then, choose the option to create a new family.
  • NEW! Ability to Add More Than 2 People as Participants in an Account: You can now add an unlimited number of family members and/or participants to SupportPay. Whether you're involved in caring for a child and want to add a step-parent or you're a sibling needing to share the financial responsibility of caring for a parent with your siblings, you can now do it all in SupportPay.   • NEW! Bill Pay: You now have the ability to upload a bill where each person can send their payment directly to a merchant or 3rd party. In addition, you can send a check directly to the merchant right from SupportPay. No more wondering if a payment has been made or having to send money for a reimbursement. Now, each family member can send their payment directly to the 3rd party or merchant, and everyone can log in to SupportPay to get up to the minute status of payments.
  • SupportPay and WeParent Integration: As we move closer to fully integrating SupportPay (the leading platform to manage family finances) and WeParent (the leading platform to manage schedules and communicate with each other), you can now use the same login and password to access both solutions, seamlessly.
  • Better Expense Details: A better interface allows you to see all the details of an expense, including each person’s shares, receipts, disputes, comments, and payments, all in one place. You can see this by going to the Transactions page and selecting an expense.

  • NEW! Add new expenses in 15 seconds or less, using our brand new 3-step process: Introducing a brand new Add Expense Wizard, which simplifies the process of adding new expenses and support.
  • NEW! Introducing the Import feature: The new Import feature allows our users to import expenses to the SupportPay app easily.
  • NEW! We’ve added the ability to record the payments made via payment applications: We’ve improved our UI so that now you can record payments you made via payment applications, such as Venmo, Zelle, Cash app, etc. and attach a payment proof. Please note that this new feature only allows you to record the payments, but not make the payment through SupportPay using the said apps.
  • Other significant improvements and bug resolutions: We’ve improved features such as the search documents functionality, multiple/partial payment functionality, mobile notifications, update personal information from a family participant, etc., by resolving bugs that were affecting these functionalities, as well as improving the UI.

  • NEW! We’ve added the ability to import expenses in bulk: It’s finally here! The feature to import expenses in bulk has been added to SupportPay.
  • NEW! Users now have the ability to subscribe to SupportPay upon registration: Now, new users don’t have to wait to complete registration to subscribe, as we’ve added the ability to subscribe during the registration process.
  • NEW! Now the contact details from the children show up in their Additional Info tab: We’ve added the contact details from the children in the Additional Info tab. This can be viewed by going to the Participants section, selecting the child, and then clicking/tapping on Additional Info.
  • NEW! We’ve added the ability to edit the additional info: Now, our users have the ability to update the participants' additional info from the Participants section.
  • NEW! We’ve added the option for custom files in the Export tab: Now, users have the ability to export custom files by selecting the newly added option in the Export tab.

  • We’ve updated the UI when entering a Paypal account as the payment method: Now the UI in the payments section has been updated so that it is clearer for anyone who wants to set up Paypal as their payment method.

  • We’ve renamed the “Case” section with “Family”: We’ve renamed this section to reflect its purpose better.

  • We’ve updated the UI for the Support Order Files section: We’ve removed the “Amount” column in the Support Order Files section, resulting in a much cleaner screen.

  • Register button error: We’ve fixed the issue where the “Register” button directed the users to the login page instead of the registration page.

  • Ability to add Support Order files, and created a new section for them: We’ve added the ability to add Support Order files, and we’ve added a specific section for them. This can be find under Documents > All Documents.

  • UI showing the same color for different users: We’ve fixed the issue where all the bubbles for the users where showing with the same color. Now, each user shows up with a different color.
  • Summary email not matching information in the account: We’ve corrected the information that is sent in the summary email. Now the information contained in the email matches the information in the account.
  • Private files functionality: Now the files added as private are completely hidden from other users in the same account.
  • Transactions not displaying correctly: We’ve fixed several issues with the transactions layout, as it was not displaying the transactions correctly when clicking on them twice, or required two clicks to switch between transaction details. Now this is working normally.

  • Daily reports for eCheck deposits: We’ve started to get daily reports for eCheck deposits. With this, we’ve enhanced our ability to detect fraudulent activity.
  • Email verification for eCheck registration: We’ve implemented email verification for eCheck registration. Now, all users will be required to verify their email, which makes the registration process more secure.
  • A new pop-up message asking for email verification: Related to the update above, we’ve implemented a new pop-up message reminding users to verify their email addresses.
  • Improved the registration flow to make it easier: Now it is much easier to register to SupportPay, as we’ve reduced the number of steps required to complete the registration.
  • Improved our data syncing: We’ve improved the way we sync our data by using a brand-new system.
  • Improved the user interface for the transactions page: We’ve introduced a new table on the transactions page that shows the deleted/void transactions.
  • Users now have the ability to change the default settings for due dates: Users are now able to change the default settings for due dates and enter the due date manually.

  • Issue on the invitation message with registering for eCheck: We’ve fixed the issue where the invitation message was not showing up in the app when registering for eCheck.
  • SSL certificate error: The SSL certificate issue preventing users from registering and sign in has been fixed.
  • Expenses don’t split correctly: Expenses are now splitting correctly, and it is not necessary anymore to enter them twice.
  • Subscription date in settings is incorrect: We’ve fixed the issue where the subscription date in settings was showing up incorrectly.
  • Bank transfers incorrectly marked as processed or paid: We’ve fixed the issue where bank transfers were marked as processed or paid on our end, but the transaction was not actually taking place. Now the transfers are marked as processed or paid until the transaction has been completed.
  • Users unable to cancel subscriptions: We’ve fixed the issue where users were unable to cancel their subscription in the app.
  • Issue setting up the due date for expenses: Now, the due date shows up correctly after the user enters it when adding expenses.
  • Registration of Invitee: We fixed the issue where the information entered by an invitee upon registration was not overriding the information entered by the inviter.
  • Country and Relationship mandatory for case participants: Now the country and relationship are not mandatory fields for case participants.
  • Phone verification issue for eCheck registration: We’ve fixed the issue where the system was showing accounts as verified for eCheck registration even though the phone number was not verified yet.
  • Users unable to sign up to SupportPay: Now, users should be able to sign up normally to SupportPay.
  • Grammar mistake in Welcome Email: We’ve corrected a grammar mistake in the welcome email sent to new users.
  • Scrolling issue in the mobile dashboard: We’ve fixed the scrolling issue in the mobile dashboard where our users could not scroll to the bottom.
  • Rows only highlighted if clicked: Now, selected rows will remain highlighted even if the user is not clicking on them.

  • Scrolling issue: We’ve fixed the issue where the dropdowns were moving along with the rest of the page when scrolling down/up.

  • Added a new link showing SupportPay’s master categories: We’ve added a new link to SupportPay’s master categories for your reference when creating a custom category.

  • Security answers case sensitiveness: We’ve fixed the issue where the answers to security questions were not matching due to case sensitiveness.

  • eCheck user interface: We’ve corrected some formatting and UI issues in the eCheck UI, such as font size, buttons sizes, etc.

  • Zip code field and edit icons: We’ve corrected the issue where the zip code field was showing the increment/decrement icons, and we’ve corrected the Edit icons so that all of them look the same.
